Aria Capelli’s mission – as a student and aspiring environmentalist – is to contribute to solving social and environmental problems through sustainability initiatives and civic engagement, especially in urban communities. Aria has spearheaded the genesis of a community garden that will be used to feed members of her school and the surrounding community.

Carter Considine (Founder)

Carter studied Arduino at an early age and besides building owl houses envisioned adding a technology component to the SRN owl boxes so SRN can properly monitor and give research data to field researchers. Carter has worked with Raspberry Pi and Arduino and is creating wildlife acoustic monitoring tools for various species of owls.

With his interest and love of orcas from an early age, Alex became aware of the global issues of pollution in the oceans. He continues to study the current problem of plastics in the oceans and wants to be an agent of change for his generation and future generations. Wanting to focus his future studies on social entrepreneurship and finance, Alex feels strongly about his generation’s responsibility in handling climate change and the environment. Civic responsibility and leadership to help make the world a better place are his main goals.
